Kennel Manager (犬舎マネージャー)

Kennel Manager is record-keeping software for professional dog breeders in Japan. A breeder writes or says one sentence about what they saw today, and the app files it into the kennel's records and the ledgers Japanese law requires. The rest of this site and the app itself are in Japanese.

What it does

• Daily records from plain Japanese chat: weights, heat cycles, matings, births, vaccinations and health checks
• Breeding cycles, litters and pedigrees (with inbreeding coefficients)
• The breeding and sales ledgers required by Japan's Act on Welfare and Management of Animals, with checks for missing items
• Documents for puppy handover, and reading photos of existing paper ledgers to bring old records in
• Customers, puppy sales and staff accounts with separate permissions

Where it runs

Web app at app.zjp73.com (computer and phone browsers) and a Mac app. iPhone and Windows apps are in testing.

Pricing

Free for up to 15 breeding dogs (beta). Standard ¥3,278 a month, Pro ¥8,580 a month, tax included; the first 30 days of Standard are free. Details in Japanese on the pricing page.
